Test matches, Champions Trophy, Ashes series - when are the next big events in women's cricket?

Following Australia's seven-wicket win over England in the T20 World Cup final at Lord's, here is what is coming up in women's cricket…

History will be made at the 'Home of Cricket' from Friday as England - five days on from their T20 loss to Australia at the ground - entertain India in Lord's first women's Test.

Let's hope for a better pitch than the one the men's Test between England and New Zealand was played on last month, when batting was tough and spin bowling a complete a non-factor.

Of the 15 previous women's Tests between England and India, 11 have ended in draws, with India recording three wins and England just the one, way back in 1995.

See if England can chalk up a second victory over 30 years on by watching the Lord's Test live on Your Site Cricket.

A host of the women's game's best players will be in action during the sixth edition of The Hundred, which you can also watch live and in full on Your Site.

SunRisers Leeds - formerly known as Northern Superchargers before being taken over by Indian media company Sun Group - are the defending champions after defeating Southern Brave in the 2025 final at Lord's.

Phoebe Litchfield and Annabel Sutherland - two key players in Australia's recent T20 World Cup win - are in the SunRisers playing squad, as is England all-rounder Dani Gibson after the franchise forked out ÂŁ190,000 on her in the auction.

England captain Nat Sciver-Brunt will feature for Trent Rockets but her predecessor as skipper Heather Knight is sitting out playing duties with London Spirit this year and will instead serve as the Lord's-based club's general manager.

The inaugural Women's Champions Trophy will be held in Sri Lanka in early 2027. Unlike the established men's version, which is a 50-over event, this will use the T20 format.

Hosts Sri Lanka are joined by the five highest-placed sides in the T20I rankings after the 2026 T20 World Cup - Australia, England, South Africa, India and New Zealand.

The sides will play each once each in a round-robin format during a short, sharp tournament, with the top two sides making the final.

Australia will start as favourites as they look to add to a bulging trophy cabinet that includes 14 World Cups, seven each across the 50-over and 20-over editions.

England's Ashes tour of Australia in early 2025 was an absolute nightmare, drubbed 16-0 on points after losing all seven games - three T20s, as many ODIs and the Test match.

There has been improvement since head coach Charlotte Edwards took over but the T20 World Cup final showed more work needs to be done if England are to win an Ashes series for the first time since 2014, when Edwards captained a victory away from home.

The 2027 contest will retain the same multi-format points system that has been deployed in every Women's Ashes since 2013, with the sole Test match to be staged at Headingley.

Watch the first-ever women's Test at Lord's, between England and India, live on Your Site Cricket from 10am on Friday (11am first ball). .
