Rogers tops Arsenal's summer shortlist

Arsenal have made Aston Villa midfielder Morgan Rogers their top target this summer, according to reports in the Athletic.

The 23-year-old, currently away with England at the World Cup, is under contract with the Midlands club until 2031.

The Premier League champions are also understood to be monitoring Paris Saint-Germain forward Bradley Barcola.

Donovan joins Sheff Utd on loan

Brentford's Romelle Donovan has joined Sheffield United on a season-long loan.

The 19-year-old attacking midfielder - who joined the Bees from Birmingham last June - made nine first team appearances in all competitions in 2025/26 and contributed two assists.

Blades boss Chris Wilder said: "He's an exciting player with a bright future and we're delighted to have been entrusted with the next stage of his development," said Blades boss Wilder.

"We've tracked him for a while, and he arrives with the added endorsement from the likes of Keith Andrews and Jack Lester who are two individuals we know and respect from their time working here.

"They obviously rate him highly because they've utilised him in the Premier League last season, so that's testament to his ability and potential.

"This is a great opportunity and having spoken with the lad I know he's keen to take it with both hands."

Blind completes Ajax return

Daley Blind has completed a return to his boyhood Ajax, where he will represent the club for a third spell after signing a one-year deal.

The 36-year-old graduated from the famed Ajax youth system before linking up with Louis van Gaal at Manchester United in 2014.

After four years at Old Trafford, Blind then returned to Ajax, where he would later be a part of the side that reached a Champions League semi-final in 2019.

Blind then joined Bayern Munich before a move to Girona. He left the Spanish club this summer upon the expiry of his contract.

"I want to add to the history and success of this football club and Im looking forward to walking out at the Emirates in front of all our supporters.

Renee Slegers said: Im delighted that weve been able to bring Gery to Arsenal. Shes a really technical, intelligent player and combines this with good athleticism, which we believe makes her a great addition to our midfield group.

"Im looking forward to starting to work together when pre-season begins.

Juventus remain interested in Martinez

Juventus remain interested in Aston Villa goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez one of Argentinas heroes in last nights World Cup classic victory over Egypt.

Sky in Italy are reporting that there will be a meeting today between relevant officials in Italy that will try to clarify whether a transfer is possible.

Our colleagues say the meeting will be about how much the Bianconeri can or are willing to invest in the keeper, hoping to pave the way for subsequent negotiations with Aston Villa.

Tottenhams Guglielmo Vicario remains a secondary option, but Juventus wants to exhaust all possibilities for Martnez first.

Speaking at the presentation of Sky in Italys programming schedule, Juventus CEO and general manager Giovanni Carnevali said: Martinez is playing (at the World Cup) so we have to wait and see.

"He is a goalkeeper who interests us. However, I reiterate what I said earlier regarding Juventus: there could be many opportunities.

We need to evaluate things carefully, especially right now, given that the valuations for some players are excessively highunrealistic figures.

Carnevali also confirmed that they are still trying to sign Randal Kolo Muani last year on loan at Tottenham from Paris Saint-Germain, and that they have an interest in Atletico Madrids Alexander Sorloth.
