Tottenham youngster Alfie Devine is having a medical with Preston ahead of a permanent transfer.

The deal for the 21-year-old midfielder is believed to be worth up to 6m and is being paid in instalments.

Devine enjoyed a season-long loan at Deepdale last season and became a crowd favourite.

Devine has chosen to play for Preston despite interest from top Championship clubs and Celtic.

Coventry youngster makes Walsall loan move

Walsall have signed midfielder Isaac Moore on a season-long loan from Coventry.

The 20-year-old came through the Sky Blues' academy and has been included in Frank Lampard's matchday squads.

Moore has previously spent time on loan at Forest Green Rovers and Solihull Moors, with his latest move to Walsall the first time he is set to play EFL football.

Youngster Wareing signs first pro deal with West Ham

West Ham have signed Sienna Wareing following her departure from Man Utd earlier this summer.

The 18-year-old midfielder has signed her first professional contract with the Hammers until 2029.

The England U19 international was Manchester Uniteds Academy U21 Player of the Year for the 2025/26 season and is West Ham's fifth signing of the window.

Burnley are in advanced talks over their vacant head coach position with KRC Genk coach Nicky Hayen.

The Clarets are confident that the Belgian will be able to join up with the rest of the squad in time for the opening game of their pre-season tour of North America, against  FC Cincinnati on Friday July 10.

Durham appoint Kirk as new head coach

WSL2 side Durham have appointed Willie Kirk as their new head coach.

The former Everton and Leicester boss recently left Swedish top flight side Djurgardens, having also managed Linkoping in the Damallsvenskan.

He returns to English football for the first time since he was fired by the Foxes after an investigation found he "breached the team's code of conduct to a degree that makes his position untenable" after an alleged relationship between himself and a player came to light.

Besir signs for Dundee

Dundee have signed midfielder Zan Besir on a two-year deal, with the option of a third year.

The 25-year-old, who was most recently at ND Primorje in his native Slovenia, has joined up with his new team-mates for pre-season training in Hungary. 

Harry Gray makes Sheff Wed loan move

Harry Gray has joined Sheffield Wednesday on a season-long loan from Leeds.

The 17-year-old has featured for the club's first team as well as the U21s, and spent time on loan at Rotherham last season, where he made 20 appearances and scored three goals.

He is one of a long line of Grays at Leeds, with his brother Archie - now at Spurs - beginning his career at the club. His dad, Andy, grandad Frank and great uncle Eddie also played for the Whites.
