Discussions are still ongoing as Rangers look to sign Partizan Belgrade captain Vanja Dragojevic.
No deal has yet been finalised as the clubs work to find an agreement over the valuation for the 20-year-old.
Dragojevic, who is under contract at the Partizan Stadium until 2030, is rated as one of the best defensive midfielders in the Serbian league and has two caps for his national side.

The deal under discussion is for another loan which includes an obligation for the Bundesliga side to buy.
This would be triggered if certain conditions are met.
The 22-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan at Leipzig.

Aston Villa midfielder Amadou Onana has ruptured his ACL, Belgium team doctor Brahim Hacene has confirmed.
Onana was forced off injured in Belgiums last-16 win over the USA.
The 24-year-old is now set for an extended spell on the sidelines.
Team Doctor Brahim Hacene: Unfortunately, the medical examinations have confirmed that Amadou has suffered a rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL). This is devastating news, both for him personally and for the team.

ONeill says Duran set to become Celtics first summer signing
Martin ONeill has revealed that Colombian forward Camilo Duran is about to become Celtics first new signing of the summer.
Your Site News understands the Hoops have agreed a deal worth around 6m for the Qarabag attacker.
It is understood the Scottish champions will pay an initial fee of 3m, with just under 3m in add-ons.
I think at this minute Duran will be coming in, manager ONeill confirmed in a club interview ahead of Celtics first pre-season friendly against Shelbourne in Dublin on Tuesday evening.
